Rights Reserved Zionism is defined as
follows: Zionist ideology
holds that the Jews are a people or nation like any other, and should
gather together in a single homeland. Zionism was self-consciously the
Jewish analogue of Italian and German national liberation movements of
the nineteenth century. The term "Zionism" was apparently coined in
1891 by the Austrian publicist Nathan Birnbaum, to describe the new
ideology, but it was used retroactively to describe earlier efforts and
ideas to return the Jews to their homeland for whatever reasons, and it
is applied to Evangelical Christians who want people of the Jewish
religion to return to Israel in order to hasten the second coming.
"Christian Zionism" is also used to describe any Christian support for
Israel.
There are a group of Orthodox Jews who so tenaciously hold faith in the Old Testament law of God, who call themselves "True Torah Jews". Their website address is www.jewsagainstzionism.com. They are a precious people and highly regard the God of their Fathers, although they have missed the truth that Jesus Christ is their long-awaited Messiah. These Jews have made the statement:
The focus of this article is to inform you, the reader, how to properly view Zionism in light of what these True Torah Jews have to say. They reflect the proper view that a Jew should have in regards to their homeland in the middle east. In our last article, Shocking Facts About Dispensationalism, we discussed the shocking facts about it that Christians need to understand. Dispensationalism is a deception of the highest kind, and is adhered to by many sincere, albeit severely mistaken, Christians. Dispensationalism proposes it has proved itself by the institution of the Independent State of Israel in 1948, after the doctrine was created in 1830 and promoted by such men as John Darby and CI Scofield and Clarence Larkin. Once again, let us reiterate what Dispensationalism is: God has dispensed several covenants in the earth beginning with the simple command to Adam to not eat of the forbidden fruit in the garden. Each dispensation ends with a judgment before God gives to man the next covenant. The teaching claims there are to be seven such dispensations before the end of the world occurs. We are allegedly in the sixth dispensation called Grace, and this will be followed by one more called the Kingdom Dispensation, or the Millennial reign of Christ. It became popular during the 1800s and early 1900s and is held today by many conservative Protestants. The teaching takes the 70 Weeks of Daniel, in Daniel chapter 9, and inserts an unbiblical gap of centuries between the 69th week and the 70th week in which the church age allegedly occurs. During the 70th week of Daniel, God will deal specifically with the nation of Israel to bring it to national salvation. In this national salvation, Israelites who have faith in Jesus Christ during that time will inherit the promised Theocratic Kingdom and the alleged unconditional Covenants God made with Israel. Israel will fulfill its role as the Theocratic Covenanted Kingdom promised to the nation in Old Testament prophecy. DISPENSATIONALISM'S
THRILL OVER ZIONISM
This last part above, dealing with Israel inheriting the promised Theocratic government, is where dispensationalism finds its joy in observing the development of Zionism. They believe that God has gathered Israel to their homeland in fulfillment of prophecy. However, as the Jews who oppose Zionism will tell you, God has nothing to do with Zionism since Zionism has actually traded the Jewish desire to serve God under Old Testament Law for a nationalistic desire to simply have a nation of their own! Zionists are actually repeating the same mistake Israel made in Samuel's day, to a degree, by wanting a nation like other nations around them. God told Samuel they actually rejected God as their King in doing so! SO, we have Christians who support something as being of God when true Torah-keeping Jews realize it has nothing to do with God, whatsoever! One Christian Zionist website made this statement as to what Christian Zionism is: "a movement, largely among Gentile Christians, supporting the right of the Jewish people to return to the Promised Land which has, of course, happened right before our eyes during this century" These Christian Zionists have a prayer on their website including this phrase, " You have kept Israel through everything and You have brought them back." Meanwhile, True Torah Jews reject any such involvement of God in Zionism's Independent State of Israel. How can people be so blind? JEWS SAY ISRAEL'S INCEPTION AS AN
INDEPENDENT STATE WAS NOT OF GOD As a proponent of Kingdom Eschatology, I have repeatedly noted to dispensationalists that the gathering of Israel to Palestine in 1948 has nothing to do with Bible Prophecy. I cited Deut 30 as proof. Moses told the people that until Israel obeys the word of commandment that God gave to them, God is not going to gather them to their land from the rest of the world. I indicated that Israel had not obeyed the commandment of God in 1948. Deuteronomy 30:1-4 KJV And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, (2) And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; (3) That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. (4) If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: The Jews have made this statement referring to the very chapter which I used to prove Israel's inception of an independent State was not of God! "Furthermore, the Torah teaches (Deuteronomy 30:3) that G-d will be the One to redeem us from exile. The Talmud explains further that any human attempts to bring an end to the Jewish exile will fail. To support such an attempt, made by Jews ignorant of their own Torah and Talmud, is not supporting the Jewish people." (http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/about/visitorcomments/comments.cfm) JEWS APPEAL TO UNITED NATIONS ONE YEAR BEFORE ISRAEL BECOMES AN INDEPENDENT STATE After speaking of this time and again, I now learn that there are True Torah Jews who have claimed the same thing all along, even in 1947, the year before Israel became an Independent State! Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky In an article entitled "The Brutal Zionist Role in the Holocaust, The Price of Zionism," the Jews against Zionism believe that Zionism was the cause for the USA being discouraged to help save the millions of Jews who were being exterminated in Germany: "As late as 1943, while the Jews of Europe were being exterminated in their millions, the U.S. Congress proposed to set up a commission to "study" the problem. Rabbi Stephen Wise, who was the principal American spokesperson for Zionism, came to Washington to testify against the rescue bill because it would divert attention from the colonization of Palestine." They have made this statement: "The purpose of the Jew is to bear witness to the existence of G-d, through his adherence to the Torah. The Al-mighty granted the Jews the land of Israel as the particular setting which would serve as the most conducive atmosphere to their performance of their duties to G-d." In other words, there is no purpose for them to be in their land if they are not serving God under Mosaic Law. That is exactly what Moses told Israel in Deuteronomy 30! In the same article Jews admit that the reason God removed them from their land was exactly what God said in Deuteronomy 30 -- refusal to obey God's law. "The Jews in ancient times were banished from the land of Israel because they had failed to fulfill their obligations to the Al-mighty. Every Jew acknowledges this in his prayers (Umipnei Chatoeinu Golinu Meiartzeinu). They accepted the penalty of exile and were at that time expressed sworn by the Al-mighty not to accelerate their redemption on their own, and especially not to rebel against the nations under whose rule they were found. To the contrary, every Jew is commanded to pray for the peace and well being of the government of which he is the subject." JEWS SAY ZIONISM IS
"REBELLION AGAINST THE CREATOR" Zionism has traded religious emphasis to God in the purpose of the Israelite homeland in favor of a worldly nationalistic goal, alone. "The Zionist movement which was formed at the latter part of the last century, sought to endow the Jews with a nationalistic character which was heretofore strange to them. It sought to deprive them of their historically religious character and offered in substitution of faith in G-d and adherence to the Torah, and belief in their ultimate redemption by the coming of the Messiah, a nationalistic ideology and the possibility of establishing through political media, a Jewish national homeland."Ironically, while Christian Dispensationalists praise God for Israel's return to the homeland, Jews who stringently adhered to Mosaic Law realized this was a grave danger to the very religion of the Jewish people! "Orthodox Jewry all over the world and the Orthodox Community in the Holy Land in particular, immediately sensed in this stage of Zionist success, the threat of grave danger for the religious future of Jews. The Arab inhabitants began to exhibit open hostility to their Jewish neighbors. The British government failed to distinguish between the Orthodox community, who for generations in habited the Holy Land, and the newly arrived Zionist immigrants. Did you read that? "We find it of supreme importance to emphasize that we are fearful of the consequences of the Zionist rebellion against the Creator, as stated expressly in Jeremich, 'For it is bad and bitter your renunciation of G-d...' " These true Torah-keeping Jews call the Zionist movement a rebellion against God. How can Christians think God is behind this Zionist movement when these true Torah-keeping Jews clearly see that it is a rebellion against God and has actually caused anti-semitism, and put blame upon religious orthodox Jews for the warfare and lack of peace in the middle east, when these orthodox Jews have completely rejected the very notion of Zionism. ZIONISM
CAUSE FOR ANTI-SEMITISM
There is a statement on their website that makes this claim: This website documents how the ideology of Zionism promotes anti-Semitism.The website shows a Zionist Threat Level Alert which is updated regularly to indicate the influence of Zionism in threatening the wellbeing of Jews across the world. I copied and pasted the code for the Alert so you can view it here below: The alert is explained as follows:
The group has also made these statements: Fellow believer, we need to share this insight from these Jews to other brethren in the Lord, and help them realize that if orthodox Jews see a rebellion against God in Zionism, of all people we Christians ought to be against any such notion. As Dispensationalism's "Christian Zionism" has erred severely so in helping Jews raise animals for sacrifice, despite the fact that such would be abomination against God, we now see further dangers of Dispensationalism in having faith in an entire movement that is considered rebellion against God by every orthodox Jew who strongly adheres to Old Testament law. Let us pray that Christian Zionists be freed from their deception and learn that God does not work with Israel and the Church at the same time. God is working solely in the Church, and all people, including Israelites, must come to Him via the Church! Let us also pray for these precious Jews who are against Zionism that they might see that Jesus is their Lord and Messiah. RDTW
